Global Meet of Biologist is specially intended to bring the biologists working in diverse areas and specializations on one platform to harness the fruits from their research for the benefit of human race with reference to food, nutrition, health and environmental security. Holistically, it is pertinent to note that the emphasis will be on the impact of climate change on the environment and to have sustainable development without causing any harm to the microbial, floral and faunal Biodiversity.

Living organisms have various Morphological, Anatomical, Physiological, Biochemical, molecular variations among different species, which is the spice of the biodiversity. However, man because of great intellectual power is looking at the other living organisms and exploiting them under the title of Economic Biology, Application Biology, Bio-prospects, concepts as Bioentrepreneur. The modern biology such as System Biology, Genomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, Nanotechnology are going to harness the nature at a higher level and this may disturb the ecological balance by effecting food chain and food web or bio process of each individual organism's due to Anthropogenic and Geocentric impacts may bring changes in the climate and environments. We can also expect to get a remedy by understanding Systems Biology, Genomics, Proteomics, Bio-Technology, Nanotechnology etc.

We are inviting speakers from a multidisciplinary and trans-disciplinary fields onto a common platform to have a holistic approach. Right now, the world is rife with scientists working in highly specialized fields and their outlook will be highly focused to further their interaction with other investigators working in the other related fields would elicit a new way of thinking results in the origin and development of new branches in life sciences.

Osmania University and Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, A.P., India in collaboration with Zoological Society of India,Bodh Gaya, welcome you to the “Global Meet of Biologists”, to be held in Hyderabad during December 26-28, 2012. This three day event has been especially designed for scientists, professionals, public health workers, policy makers and community leaders involved in life sciences. This platform is expected to generate a debate on understanding the present day status and future scope of the research in life sciences that has an impact on the socio-economic and environmental conditions of biosphere for a sustainable development while providing food, nutrition and health security. The conference will comprise plenary lectures, invited lectures and contributed paper presentations (Posters).
